On Friday, the 27th of June, we organised a memorial skateboard jam for our dear friend and skate companion, Joseph Loughborough, who passed away a week earlier at the age of 41.

Joseph was an inspiring, kind, and talented human being — a passionate skateboarder, devoted friend, loving partner, and gifted artist. MBU Skatepark in Berlin was his go-to spot whenever he spent time in the city.

He will be deeply missed and warmly remembered.

We created a memorial wall at the skatepark and, later in the evening as the daylight faded, projected skate footage of him. It was moving to see so many kind and humble people come together to honour Joseph and pay their respects.
