No big plans. At least, not usually. My black and white photography is stripped down, capturing the world around me in real time, unfiltered. I shoot life as I go—friends, acquaintances, strangers, anyone crossing my path. I’m fortunate that my friends don’t mind when I’m lurking around with my camera, capturing those close, raw moments. This collection serves as my visual diary, mapping out the places and people that fill my days.

In contrast to this candid approach, I also take commissioned photographs in color for lifestyle, portrait, and mood projects. When I shoot in color, the focus and composition shift significantly compared to my black-and-white images. While my black-and-white work emphasizes the starkness of light and shadow, revealing the raw essence of each scene, the color photography allows for a more nuanced expression of emotion and atmosphere. Carrying a different camera for these shoots enables me to seek out those real-life moments in vibrant hues, resulting in entirely different perspectives. Each style has its own charm and challenges, reflecting the dynamic nature of photography itself. Together, they create a fuller narrative of my experiences and the world around me.
