This was my longest stint in Japan yet—nearly a full year in Tokyo from 2022 to 2023, thanks to my work visa. As before, I was working with JYKK Japan, designing BMX-related products for Motel Works, a long-term Japanese BMX brand. I was lucky to have time on my hands in between to get out and explore the city, camera in hand whenever possible. Even though this was my fourth extended stay in Tokyo, the city still felt fresh and mainly uncharted, thanks to its scale and variety.
